Our #SavewithCrypto campaign, launched in partnership with Brave Browser and The Giving Block, has now raised $27,000 for Save the Children’s #SavewithStories initiative, which supports children in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thanks to the generosity of our clients, we reached our initial goal of $10,000 in user donations to be matched by Nexo, resulting in a total contribution of $20,000 within just 3 days of #SavewithCrypto’s launch. The community’s continued support via the Giving Block widget on Nexo’s website has helped us exceed the original target by an additional $7,000, with new donations coming in daily.
“We were thrilled to have achieved our goal in such a short time, but it thrills us even more that donations are still flooding in. We have therefore decided to keep the campaign active for as long as our community is willing to donate,” said Nexo Head of Marketing Lyubcho Kostadinov, who coordinated #SavewithCrypto.
Donations to Save the Children help make sure schools and community programs have the support they need to keep children’s brains and bellies full, with #SavewithStories specifically designed to help children at their most vulnerable during the COVID-19 crisis.
